The equipment we use is as follows:
- Audio Toolbox by TerraSonde
- Various test tone cd's custom made by sound generator software
- Other music that beats out. I.E. Lil John and the Eastside Boyz, any other
Atlanta based rap group.
- Our ears
- Peoples' reactions
- The Golden Question: "How many 18's you got?"
- Other show promoter's meters such as the Audio Control Spl Meter
The point is our jank beat out. And if anyone else has a vehicle that beats out
we want to know about it and put pics and links of it on this site because we're
sick of hearing people from SoundDomain
say, "my 8 12's are so loud I can't sit in the car!" Then, in the
facts section is says "SPL--149.9db" and those of us who have hit 160plus can't
imagine how NOT loud that is and how
EASY it would be to sit in that car
and have a conversation with someone or talk on the phone or hear crickets
chirping on a still night.
- 140 doesn't beat out
- 150 doesn't beat out
- 160 BEATS OUT
- 170 really beats out but we're not talking about that
right now.
